Tracking down every mini-boss on Floor 1 of Sword Art: Eternity requires knowing the exact teleport hubs and landscape markers outside the Town of Beginnings, Medai, and Tolbana. In this Roblox MMORPG developed by MOTE Games, mini-bosses roam open fields, hide inside mountainside caves, or guard the entrance to the floor labyrinth. Locating them efficiently lets you farm specialized weapon drops, cosmetics, and crafting components.

Floor 1 Mini-Boss Spawn Locations and Routes

Floor 1 features several distinct field mini-bosses alongside the Minotaur inside the floor labyrinth. You can reach all of them quickly by using the teleport crystal network from the Town of Beginnings.

How to Find Each Overworld Mini-Boss

Each overworld encounter follows a direct route from the designated Floor 1 waypoint:

  1. Boar Chieftain: Step out through the main gate of the Town of Beginnings. Rather than following the open road toward other villages, make a turn toward the nearby elevated hill and stone ruins. The oversized boar spawns directly on this hill. Using a horse mount allows you to reach the incline faster.
  2. Alpha Direwolf: Use the teleport menu to jump directly to Medai. Head past the rear exit of the settlement and turn right toward the rocky mountainside. Look closely along the base of the rock wall to locate a small cave entrance. Walk through the opening to find the Alpha Direwolf waiting inside the cavern.
  3. Tolbana Plant Boss: Warp to Tolbana and face the path directly leading away from the portal. Ride or sprint straight forward across the plain toward the standing stone pillars. The plant-like creature spawns out in the open near the base of the pillar.
  4. Wasp Queen: From the Tolbana portal, turn around and travel behind the spawn area toward the labyrinth grounds. Follow the markers past the wooden guide signs and veer right. The giant bee-type mini-boss hovers right in front of the labyrinth gateway structures, just to the left of the entrance.

How to Fight and Farm the Minotaur Mini-Boss

The Minotaur serves as the primary mini-boss inside the Floor 1 labyrinth dungeon before reaching the main floor boss chamber.

Community testing demonstrates that approaching this encounter underprepared carries heavy risk due to high burst damage:

  • Level Requirement: Level 17 or higher.
  • Stat Distribution: Maxed agility and maxed stamina to sustain continuous dodging.
  • Gear: Neil Blade (upgraded if possible) and Sheep's Keep.
  • Consumables: Bring between 20 and 40 Weak Stamina Potions to replenish your meter during sustained combat.

Attack Patterns and Combat Mechanics

The Minotaur relies on two primary physical attacks that can quickly defeat players caught out of position:

  • Leap Attack (~1,100 damage): Whenever you engage the Minotaur, its opening move is always a high leap toward your character. Sprinting laterally or using a directional dash completely evades the impact.
  • Ground Debris: Immediately after the Minotaur lands from a leap, stone projectiles scatter across the floor. Touching these rocks—whether they are still flying or stationary on the ground—deals damage and stuns your character. These rocks naturally despawn after several seconds.
  • Stomp Attack (~900 damage): A close-range ground pound that punishes players standing directly in front of the boss.

Farming Strategy and Respawn Timer

After dodging the initial leap, lock into a circular strafe by holding either the A or D key while chaining light (M1) melee attacks. Watch the boss's windup animations carefully, and dash sideways whenever a leap or stomp begins. If your stamina runs low while evading attacks, drink a stamina potion immediately.

Alternatively, players have observed a distance-baiting strategy: by backing away until the Minotaur commits to a forward charge, you can trigger a brief stun window that leaves the boss open to two skill attacks without retaliation.

The Minotaur operates on an 8-minute and 20-second respawn timer after being defeated, allowing solo players or groups to cycle instances while farming its drop table.

Floor Boss Progression

Beyond the roaming mini-bosses, Floor 1 culminates in the main floor boss located at the top of the tower dungeon. Progressing past Floor 1 unlocks Floor 2, where raid groups encounter new dungeon hazards such as Forest Sentinels guarding the approach to the central raid platform.
